My start up didn't go so well, it did start just fine, but I lost part of the intake gasket after an hour of running. Trashed 12 qts of Mobil1 V-twin plus made a milkshake more like cheesecake before I could get to a ramp. I have run about 15 gallons of diesel through it and plan on starting it tonight with a 50/50 oil/diesel mix. Oil pressure was still good before the filter so hoping for the best.

Careful with the diesel it's hard on rubber seals. I learned that one the hard way - switched to using transmission fluid...
