Custom Marine if you do not mind as I am just asking who you are or info about your business. I am sorry I do not know. I'm sure others up here are thinking the same about you.
I am not directing this about anyone persons but would like to add many people, along with many engine builders and many racers no matter what motorsport know nothing technical about fuel or oil or the chemistry or the compounds of it but really think they do. Also many have no idea what RVP is and what it has to do with fuel along with specific gravity #'s.. Kind of like for engine or gear oil many people can not even tell you the difference between Group I thru Group V based oils but think they know a lot about oils. The word synthetic for oils is very misleading as most people do not realize what a real true synthetic oil is. Anyways just saying as an example. |
[B]I own a company called X1R, we have a new proven octane booster. I run 1350's, I refreshed at 190 hours and now have 80 hours again. We sell octane booster in one gallon cans, one gallon treats 60 gallons of 89 octane bringing it up 4 points minimum. We have the least amount of MMT of any product, MMT coats the inside of your engine with a red residue, most all of the over the counter boosters are almost all MMT. Call Jeff at 386-451-9824 in Daytona. And of course a shameless plug for my poker in Atlanta www.piratesoflanier.comB]

Windship I have 2 questions , first by 4 points do you mean 89 octane becomes 93 octane and if so under what brand name is it sold and can I get in Toronto Canada .
Thanks Rick. |

Here the website for X1R: http://www.x1r.com.my/product_info.p...=801013-100009
And an article testing it: http://www.automology.com/2013/12/x-...ut-on-top.html If this is the same product. |
Hi Rick,
This is Jeff, from X1R in Daytona Beach, we have a distributor in Toronto. The X1R octane booster, Windship was referring to, is from X1R, a (1) gallon can, additive for gasoline, will increase octane by 6 numbers (an octane number = 10 points); so at a higher dilution rate will increase gas/petrol from 87 octane to 93; for gas/petrol at 89 octane, at a lower dilution rate, will raise octane from 89 to 93 (four numbers or 40 points). There is no retail product remotely close to this product, we have 3rd party testing, comparing X1R to the leading brands; would be happy to forward to you..... X1R 800-747-4917 x 310 Jeff Ketchledge Yes, we have a Toronto distributor, feel free to call John March. John March X-1R MANUFACTURERS REP. Tel: 905-436-0915 Cell: 416-407-7336 [email protected] |
Wanted to ask about your X1R oil additive if I recall correctly is a calcium based additive kind of like the same as Oil Extreme product additive. THX

If this X1R has less MMT in it, and I'll assume TEL is not being used, my guess is ferrocene (as I believe is used in the Outlaw brand product) must be the other active ingredient? Something else has to be making up the difference if it has less MMT and is as effective as claimed.
BTW, significant slugs of MMT in fuel will leave what looks like a rust colored residue, but I have never heard of any buildup related issues... certainly less than normal carbon related buildup. |
Our retail product is an extreme pressure compound additive; however, we developed a racing oil additive intended for race cars and performance engines that is a more complicated formula. We recently tested at a leading Nascar dyno, had 3 HP gain over the full synthetic Schaeffer oil normally run. Its not a calcium base.
X1R sponsors the X1R Pro Cup Racing series, we created this new, high level (expensive) oil additive, that will increase horsepower, improve fuel economy and protect the engine from wear. |
