Any ideas on the best full boat cover?

Hello,

I recently purchased a 28' Warlock and it won't always be indoors. I have a custom fit cockpit cover, but am debating on a full cover so that it is protected from getting dirty and UV rays as well.

I'm not sure whether or not a big tarp will take care of my needs, or if any of you guys have any ideas on where to get a decent price on a full boat cover?

Thanks in advance for everyone's input!

And here's a pic:

Spend the money to get a local shop to make a cover that will cover the boat from bow to the outdrive all the way down below the chine. I regret not doing it when I bought my boat. Not cheap but it will keep it looking good and you can make it how you want with access panels to climb in the boat with the cover on, add gas, etc.

That sounds ideal, jmeng. I just need to find a decent local shop. I'm sure that's waaaayyy better than a tarp...I'm sure I will be frightened when I begin pricing them though!

Check out Carver covers, claimed to be a semi custom fit, have been looking at them myself and they look like a pretty fair deal for the money. Full custom covers are big coin, just for something that mother nature will eat up in time, my thought, save the money and get a new on when needed.

I had a full cover from Carver covers for my Bullet. Made from Sunbrella, fit pretty well considering it wasn't a custom cover. You have to retreat them every 2 or 3 years. For the price it was a good deal.
I just had a custom fitted cover made out of Aqualon, covers the side all the way down and also covers the drives. It was 3 times the price of the Carver cover but you don't have to retreat it.
You can't go wrong either way, it all in what your budget is.

Id get a Wizard to make a cover for your Warlock and then have a Witch put on a waterproof spell and you`re all set! Do this only on Halloween!!
