New member here,Need help.Recently purchased this boat that looks exactly like a 23 warlock worldclass, but its titled as a Chriscaft 23. and the hull# matches the title. And its a 1982. I have heard they didn't make the warlock until late 80's.Hope the pictures come through. Can't find another chriscraft like this anywhere on the internet. any help will be greatly appreciated.[IMG]

I wondered when this would pop up.
It is a Warlock 23 WC., with a "Bogus" 1982 Chris Craft Scorpion 230 HIN# and Title....
I know it well and solved the mystery for the Owners of Ocean Spray Watercraft in NPR. When I informed them that it is a Warlock and mentioned the "fishy" title and HIN I was told "People change HINs and Titles all the time, no big deal".
BUT, it is a beautiful boat and in amazing condition.
Cheers,
Dave
EDIT: I also forgot, be sure to check your Bilge Blower, it wasn't working a few months ago.

Warlock.
One was bought new and resided down the street. Always loved seeing that boat run. Got bought by another in the area and it's been sitting on a trailer with two tarps over it for past 15-20 yrs. Looks identical to yours. Paint scheme and everything.

Wow Dave i did buy this boat in NPR. The hull number looks original , they must of done a good job changing it.But its a real nice boat anyway. I want to tell people who ask its a warlock but its hard to when the title says chriscraft.

Endmill,
If you are ever back in the NPR area give me a shout and I will show you where to find the hidden HIN #. I talked with Tom Stolarz (founder of Warlock) about this boat a few months ago and have some other details for you.
FYI, here is what an original Warlock HIN# looks like, followed by one "not so original"

Cheers,
Dave

Dave,
My brother lives in NPR. He found this boat for me, I come over to see him pretty regular to ride on lake tarpon.yeah its been kind of bugging about this title thing sense i've had the boat.
but the guy i bought it from did fix the things that weren't working like the blower and the trim tabs. boat rides nice but you do need a little tab. thanks again, any more info would be nice.
