We put ours on a stick to get different angles. You can only watch the bow mount for so long.

I use a seasucker mount, the go pro one is good, never have issues, but the seasucker is a little stronger in my opinion , but you lose the ability to adjust to all different angles

I use the jaw clamp mount but also tie a small line around the mounting with the other end tied to a cleat or rail or something. It has never come free, but if it does, it's tied to something and I won't lose the camera..

I use a heavy duty suction cup I bought from eBay. Then I use a surf board stick on mount with a tether, just in case the suction cup lets loose..... This is a video from the 1st time I used my GoPro..... (Long Island Stampede).
http://youtu.be/24dFJ_rkYtQ The 2nd vid is from last weekend on a friends shakedown run. I used the suction cup and also a stick...... The sticks are great for ease of use but at speed are just to hard to keep steady....... http://youtu.be/74ZW-7r_Ptg |
