It's not the one that looks the best in my opinion, but the one that gives the most visibility and second which one has the best aerodynamics.

Timucin in the old days I built the boat around the throttle man. Giving the guy the most peripheral vision possible as he has the control of the boat ! The driver a steering wheel and a compass Big deal.
