I had a 1990 Eliminator Daytona 24 with 2X2.5 EFIs back in the day, and I had a late friend who had a new 25 Talon with the same engine set-up and he was always about 6-8 mphs faster than me all the time. I said back then one day....

yeah the one I drove was an I/O with a bulldog 540 and a Hawk and the time I drove it we were bout 93 in it. in perfect conditions it would do more. hell with a stock 502 mag and a Hawk it would do 80-82

But we were also told with a wink it was a bulldog so we may not know what was really in it lol.

I wonder how it handled with a BH vs. Bravo1 Did they build/test both drives?

Thing drove like it was on rails very smooth very predictable and really not sluggish out of the hole surprisingly. But yeah it threw a mean rooster and handled great. I know it was way faster than the bravo lol.

They have built quite a few Talon 25 with Arnesons on them also. I'd love to try that if the $$ wasn't so expensive, although Rik fro Arnesons says its not much more than full Bravo1 $$.....

Yeah that sounds weird cause I know the Hawk was enough faster that it made a noticeable difference. I never drive it with the bravo but everyone at merc swore it was enough faster that it was more than worth it.

Strip,
Thanks, here's pic of the Aqua Step that I installed this past weekend. And then off to the "Pirate Party" in the Banana River!
