Question Sealing polished metal finishes

After having just about everything for my engine polished, I would like to find something to keep the shine locked in. I've read up a bit on nanotechnology coatings and superhydrophobic products, but am having problems finding where to purchase some of these as a consumer.
I would prefer to stay away from clear powder coat or anodizing.

Anyone have any luck on such products, or can recommend something that actually works?

I have used a Wizards product found at my local Napa store. It is for metals. Prime seal?? I know there paint sealant is called supreme seal. But they have one just for bare metals.
