What apps are you guys using? I have been messing around with the free navionics. It leaves a lot to desired. I'm thinking the upgrade would be what I'm looking of but for $50 I want to be sure. Simple maps for $10 is an option new. Just looking to input and reviews on what you guys are using. I'm going to be running mine threw an iPad mini. Using the garmin GLO for location service.

Bought the Navionics app for my iPhone then installed it on my iPad. Cheaper. Not sure if any difference but seems pretty good

I use Navionics USA/Canada paid on my Waterproof Pantech Element Tablet with wifi and 3G. Works great and the glare is not as bad as an Ipad or even my phone during the day. I use this mount to my fiberglass near the dash, amazing mount http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Anyone know what the difference is between the iPhone vs iPad versions? From what I can gather is resolution is higher on the iPad version. Otherwise same thing

They look the same with the same features on both. I like the view on my ipad simply because it's bigger and you can see more of an given area. I first downloaded it for the iPhone and was pleasantly surprised when I could have it on my ipad without having to purchase it again.
