I recently found one for sale near me for $12500 and it needs some work. Some piece were stolen off like the tie bar for the drives and the thru hull exhaust pipes (the manifolds are still there) which isn't really a big deal to me. It was painted in 99' and then put on a trailer where it has sat since 2000. It has twin 496's with SSM #3 drives on it. I was thinking about making an offer on it (not $12,500 more like maybe $9-10K) and updating it. My thing is it is all original from 1979 which means it would need to be updated which could put me in it well more than I could just buy an updated one for. I'm just sure if it's worth it. Maybe some guys can enlighten me on if it is and if it's worth more staying all original.

You would be better off just buying a running boat for a few bucks more.
