Its $25,000 invested because the shop that did the upholstery work told him they would have to pay $20,000 in licensing fees to use the Batman logo , or that's at least what they told him.

There a guy on THT who has done a conversion on a 10m Fountain to a fishing machine. He completed gutted the boat and did the full rebuild himself and put twin Yammies on the back.

It's not everyone's cup of tea but the guys on THT love his boat and so does his family! I enjoyed reading the thread. I'm not into fishing but I appreciate the work he put in to a very professional build.

Mount a winch down in the cabin fed up onto the top of the hardtop through a multiple set of pulleys.

Thinking parasailing down in the Bradenton area during the off season when I'm not hitting big time Blue Tuna off the OuterBanks..

Parasail941 where do you parasail so I don't encroach on your business. I'm thinking I can live off a50/50 split with the site owner.

I know it's God Ugly , but when you are out in the sun all day than coming home in 45 degree temps getting wet a enclosed helm station is a Nice Thing..

I was borderline enclosing my little helm area on my parasail boat and putting A/C in it to get my azz out of the sun.

12 hours a day , day after day will kill you. Doesn't matter what hardtop or Bimini you have. The reflection off the water of the Florida Sun in July will find a way to burn your nuts.

Our COLDEST months are Jan/Feb with average daytime temps around 88 degrees so sunburn is a huge concern. Fortunately, there's no shortage of girls to help rub some after sun cream onto the affected areas.

Thanks for posting the THT!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading it last night.
Even though I didnt do the majority of work on my project (thanks Glass Dave) it brought back some not too distant memories of when the going gets tough and you have to power through

How have I not seen that god awful boat. He did his sake down runs on lake Tarpon (about 1.5 miles from me). It might be his dream but damned if his dreams are not ugly as can be.

Being from Minneapolis it is nice to see a properly stored boat. It is relatively cheap to rent inside storage here in a barn somewhere, or shrink wrap it, You don't want to just leave it parked out there.
Seen better days, it is priced pretty cheap though. In the classic picture of the engines I like to see belt on the motors, where did they go? I get disconnected hoses this time of year. I also like to see the out-drives on the back of the boat rather than on the floor inside. Details count!

I would say the "no leaks anywhere" statement means what ever fluid may have existed has leaked out...
