Although old, this seems like a great deal for a new power boater.

nothing about small blocks in the ad. Original LS-6 = Big Block, and LS6 as an engine designation wasn't reused until the 5.7L in the 2001 Corvette Z06, and at that point the Big Block was already on to Gen VII in the form of the 8.1 (496).
Built from new Mark IV LS-6 base engines (described in Chevrolet PowerBook); compression lowered to 9:1; heads replaced with Merlin Oval Port;Inconel exhaust; Comp Cams stainless roller rockers; new Isky springs; ported bowl and short side radius work on exhaust; Comp Cams roller camshafts; custom chrome moly push rods; Eddie Marine Performance exhaust with stainless pipes and mufflers; Edelbrock air gap manifolds, hard coat anodized; Holley 3310carburetors; Malory/ Pertronix distributors; MSD #6 modules

Not all that bad of a deal, but I don't think it's a Scarab. 30ft. didn't have port windows nor the tall bow rail. The keel is a little too squared off as well. Maybe a Nova? ( Seat back had Nova stitched in it)
