Or some prior owner didn't want to play with EFI.

The last HP500 carb motor was available in 2000. Power play stooped building in 2004-2006?

05 I believe. But remember Dan would let you power your new boat with whatever you wanted. Guys were putting in Cobra 650s towards the end on the 38s.

That boat was out here for a while. The abbreviated version is the hull doesn’t have enough bow lift and isn’t a good ride at speed.
If you look down the steps they are angled down on the aft end, each acting like a trim tab that is down.
unfortunate because it’s a cool boat, with some nice pieces.
I think with mild power it would make someone a nice boat if kept under 90mph.

Hey the price isn't completely crazy but I'd love to know the last time that boat actually got wet and someone went diving off it!

I like aluminum hulled stuff.

Used see one on Canadian side of Lake Erie from time to time.

Was identical to a 30’ something Fountain but made from tin!

Here's the boat in 2008 when it was sold by the Father-In-Law of the manufacturer. An acquaintance of mine in Sweden bought one and stuck twin big diesel in it and changed the cockpit for racing. The boat is famous in Europe. He sold it to replace it with an Outerlimits SV-52 with quad 600 hp Seatek diesel motors. It's a beauty. His Liq. Tech. SL44 went to Irland where it went on to set endurance records.

OSO thread at sale in 2008: Liquid Technologies SL44 on KC Craigslist

Here's an article of my Swedish acquaintance SL44 that he sold to the boys in Ireland who founded 'Allblack Racing': https://www.redbull.com/nz-en/allbla...record-attempt
