Something I have noticed with a lot of the newer go fast boats is the lack of side support in the seats, seems like when things start to get rough that would make it hard to stay in place. Seen it on a lot, both V's and the new Cats.

Though I find that Phantom CC cool, I'd rather have bought the totally restored 1986 Magnum 27 CC with twin 300R's they sold a few months ago.
for about half the price. It doesn't hurt to have some freeboard if one wants to call the boat an offshore boat. This Phantom is more of a crazy fast
intercoastal canoe.
