Tonka is one of the only lakes with a speed limit of 40 during the day, 15 or 20 at night. Then the same for the Mississippi River north of the Sauk Rapids dam/ old paper mill dam for 9.9 miles (this speed limit I found out the hard way.)

Other wise there are no speed limits for boats unless it is a pretty small lake but they also have a 10 hp max limit. Some one didnt take the boating safety class........
