Needs buffing, but for $10,600 it can be yours. Wow, stripped out and ready for new stringers and transom.... And by stripped, they mean it came out of the mold with more stuff than it has now. And no trailer.

Come on....
Should read $10.60

^ Yeah I'm sure the mother-in-law would love living in that. Might be a good way to get rid of her. Maybe you could put it in the back yard as a nautical themed guest room. Put hydraulic rams to rock it back and forth and get one of those sound machines that makes wave and gull sounds.

I almost did something very similar, not for mother in law but just for fun. 1968 57' wood Chris Craft Constellation, belonged to a friends father it was in beautiful cosmetic shape but had a bad bottom and no running gear, plan was to dig a trench in the back yard, tar the bottom to the waterline and set it in and surround it with sand, run power to it and drop a hot tub where the engines were. I couldn't arrange transport from the yard in time and that ended that.

That would have been a great idea!........as long as you had room for a 57 ft boat in your yard and your neighbors wouldn't complain!

The worst part about that idea would be when the time came, the removal of a rotted 57 ft boat from your backyard!

I think his price is about right but I'm not sure why he wants to hold a deposit on the trailer? It doesn't look like it would add a lot of value to the package. Maybe it's sentimental reasons.........Mmmmm......

There is an ex commercial pilot near where I live who has a large block of land with the fuselage of an old plane siting in the back yard. He has turned it into a guest room with ensuite and small kitchenette. Self contained, air conditioned and very nicely fitted out. Anything's possible!

LOL, not bad on the article...but the first 2 sentences says it all.

Real Men don't want a pontoon boat. Any real man wants a performance boat. The only reason any guy would want a pontoon is to keep the wife and kids happy. Let's face it, if your idea of a good time is to boat around at 15mph with your bimini up flipping burgers this isn't the boat for you. Go look at those other floating barges that require hours of cleaning and might get you to the wild side,if you think the wild side is 40mph.
But this is the exception for a pontoon boat! This is a real man's boat. It has racing flags-6 of them just on the seats! You already got the checkered flag just boarding this boat! Real men enjoy blowing by other "normal" boats with a clearly superior boat. This is a "PLAYCRAFT DAYTONA"tritoon -yes it's called a Daytona for a reason!
You can make the wife and the kids happy and still have your fun also. And it's made for Florida conditions!

SALTWATER SERIES gives you Anodes on each toon, Full undercarriage Aluminum Performance shield, Heavy Duty Vinyl Flooring, Seats and Railings raised off the floor by 1"and every SS cupholder drains to the floor TO GIVE YOU HOSE DOWN CLEANING.

2015 Playcraft Daytona-22'9" of wild thing

Tritoon w/Rac-R-Fins and Surface Piercing Staggered Nose Cones, ONE PIECE PLYWOOD FLOOR, Foam filled U shaped pontoons, Ultra Built in toon boarding steps, 50 gallon in toon tank, Fiberglass Performance Console with Chrome Smartcraft gauges ,Hydraulic Steering ,Docking lights, SS Cup holders,Racing Flag pattern seats and extended Paneling 28" tall top of Railing, Heavy Duty Vinyl Flooring ,Sony Stereo System w 4 Kicker Speakers.

This one also has dual Milsco Racing Bucket Seats w/bolsters , Extended Sofas, Fender / Icebox Storage Box, Two Console Storage Compartments, Sidemount Control Box, Heavy Duty Powder Coated Ski Bar, Full cover.Powered by a Mercury 250hp Pro XS w SS propeller mounted on a Bob's Jackplate. Many more options available! Buy this one or we can custom build one just for you!! Don't want/need our power-you can add your own! Galvanized Custom trailer available.
