This changes the whole game. If this thing stays together they will wipe the floor with the competition in SBI.

Just when the UL class was getting good the sheik goes big because he's tired of losing.

Well, can't say I blame him...if I had the $$ I'd probably use it to beat the competition, and take the crown. For years, the old Geico mystic did the same.

What do you guys think are the odds of his driveline holding up to this much power over a race course, as compared to straight line runner like myway?

I believe the key is to try to cutoff fuel to the turbines whenever the prop leaves the water, to save the driveshaft from snapping. The turbines don't spool down quickly enough by throttling alone. Let the turbines keep spinning, just with no power behind them.

So what is the fuel burn on 2 t55's at wide open??
