Well, the beauty of an outboard is you can replace the whole motor in less than an hour and may not even have to get in the boat. Like to see someone do that with a big block. Working in the bilge sucks...especially with twins.

The mid-sections scare me, if your referring to the 3.2/300 engines. I took a HARD turn and snapped on pretty quick a few years back.
Build a set of 15in 300xs's or 300x's and the problem goes away. Use the Mad EFI 300x 15in mid with your Clamp/ Bracket/ Trim from your 280's. It's a great package with amazing fuel economy. |
