Boat purchase advice
A friend just sold his old boat , 21' 4 winns, wants new, bigger faster. He runs with a bunch of us oso lurkers, I run 99 boss 302 2- 7.4's love the baja, handles big water and is a big boat, others in gruop include 02' 288 sunsation 496 mag w/procharger, 97 32 sunsation 2- 7.4 efi mags, 99 29 powerquest 2-330's, 24' challenger 700 hp or more. We run on Lake MI, Torch Lk, hardy pond, etc. He's looking for 99 or newer, $65 to $75 thou., 70 mph or so, low hrs, relatively compfy to weekend on, he's 6'6", sporty looking, good resale. I immediately recommended 29 outlaw and found a couple on boattrader, 99's w/mags, hyd steer, k-planes, 3x trailer low hrs $72-74 thou. I may be too baja induced to find a better all around deal for him. What do any of you think, I will pass on your advice with only limited prejudice, LOL. Thanx
Jaye, Dave- if your reading this it's Pete, quit lurking and fork over some opinions.

Look for a used 28 Sonic. Nice tall freeboard for a big guy so he won't need to crawl into the cabin.
I would imagine that a ton of boats will be comming on the market in Sept.
