Well.........it took 2 years to NOT build your engines with apparently nothing but implausible excuses as to why, so the chances of a a deposit return check being expedited, were unfortunately, probably slim to none.

Hope it works out.

Paul pfaff had my two engines done in three weeks to my door. No bull hit. Complete drop ins. Bill had my boat. So glad I picked it up and went so where else. Two ****ing years. What a joke.

What was done or not done specifically to cause you such displeasure?

My new boat has ATCO engines and while Bill talk to me at length about them and seemed like a nice guy.
That being said all I needed was for them to unlock the ECUs.. less than 1 minute of their time is all I needed but they could not come thru with this simple task. I even sent my hottest emplyee to go sweet talk them (an hour away) Bills wife at the front desk could care less about my issue, could care less that all I needed was 30 seconds of their time and my only other option was to erase the ecus and start the tuning process from scratch costing thousands and a lot of time.

I offered to bring the boat, the ecu ..whenever they needed. Nope, **** you , not going to raise a finger to help you . I called several times a week for 2 weeks, never a call back.
Lucky for me they were unlocked , the tune sucked anyway.

Did they give you a reason they could not be unlocked? Are they worried about unlocking them, then some quack changes the tune and they get sued? But since it was unlocked they'd be off the hook right? Who knows...I'm just curious.

No reason.
4 year old tune.. not like there`s some proprietary tuning going on.
Most good builders don`t lock their tunes.
I mean they could have given me the code over the phone..

Eddie Young sent me tunes from similiar engine combos without a second thought .
