Florida for winter ! ?
Live near Toronto ( Yes I know too bad for me ) looking at dragging my boat to Florida for a winter long holiday, looking for suggestion on which side to play ( Atlantic or Gulf) or both ?
My idea is leaving the boat in storage along with the truck and flying home once in awhile, is there good storage to park a boat and truck/trailer ?
I have never done this before and looking for good idea's or experiences that would direct me towards having a awesome winter long holiday.

C'mon on down southwest Florida. There is a big ass storage yard on burnt store road that can handle that without costing an arm and a leg. Locked fence at night. Great boating and lower prices than east coast. Plus you can join and do runs with FMO

YOu need to decide what interest you. East coast have a longer ICWW, more things to do, restaurants. etc "inside", but you will be put putting for hours. West coast.. more island, beaches to go, smaller ICWW area but than there is the bay. I mean Tampa bay, lot's of open waters and places to go. I lived in Boca for years and decided to try the West coast. I like it better. PLus.. I don't have to deal with the east coast snobby wanna bee's and the "Boca thing" anymore .

Jason and the crew are doing that for years now. In/out and truck and trailer storage. Located in Pompano.
The west coast is great too but I wouldn't get north of Ft. Myers or it will still be a bit cold most days.
