Blister Boy & Donzi...finally resolved!

Here is Donzi's official resolution regarding the infamous Blister Boat owner. A classy response from a classic company, in my biased opinion!

Nice job Donzi !:)

Excellent service, just a year late.

I would hope the person who had the problems would also boast about the condition he got the boat back in. I have no doubt that his voice being heard on the internet had something to do with Donzi finaly fixing the problem.

OSO is a powerful forum. You don't want to be bad mouthed here.

Nice to see that they stepped up to the plate. Wonder what would have happened without all the internet publicity? Hopefully it would have been the same resolution.

That sounds like a really sweet deal:D. Wonder if Formula would take back my 1989 and repair some wear and tear items:confused:

It's great that they fixed his boat, but didn't they blow him off for about a year or two? I seem to recall him having major frustration getting anywhere at all with the factory.

Were is blister boy now saying that they finally made good. Boating I hope but the right thing to do is to tell everyone that they did eventually make good and even went above and beyond.

"Blister Boy" = Major Moron

I remember that there were some major "dealer misrepresentation" with the whole situation which is why Donzi was reluctant to fix the boat. The dealer went out of business shortly after the purchase. So, "Blister Boy" wanted Donzi to fix the now out of business dealer's promises. In my opinion, "Blister Boy" is a major moron that probably could have got the situation resolved much quicker by using other means.

They sure do talk a lot about all of the goodwill things they did, taking the extra care to mention that the tabs were installed in the wrong position by the customer. Nice. I wonder why they didn't say very much about the "factory installed" gelcoat and the thousands of blisters that covered the boat.
