[QUOTE=low_psi;4155513] Not sure how many CCs you've seen or what the water cops have where you boat, but I don't think anyone has ever mistaken my boat for the sheriff or Coast Guard....

Thats what they drive up here CCs with twin OBs. Im not kidding you when I see one I think its the Cops.

Im looking to get into a CC.I Would like to leave it in Florida to use for the winter. Looking at around 25ft, would need some type of enclosed head thats at least big enough for a porta potti and to change out of wet clothes in. Would like it to run in the 60s. Not really interested in any fishing features.
Is something like this available

May want to ask that question over on : thehulltruth.com. There are far more C.C. owners there.

Back in the late 80's/early 90's they scored a contract with the Broward Sheriff's Office to build Marlins for their marine units but I think they were bigger than a 32. The partnership eventually blew apart and I never heard much about boats at his house again.

The Marlago 35 is a clone of the Marlin 35.

Probably not......you could get 2 out of 3 (size, speed or enclosed head). The other consideration on CC's and speed......there is nothing to hold onto at speed for most of the passengers so a triple engine go fast CC with 900 HP hanging off the transom is not really an ideal ride at 70 mph in 2-3 ft seas. The last time I was aboard one going to the Bahamas we never broke 50 mph (boat ran 70 WFO), at 50 it was a nice ride for everyone but much faster and it would have been white knuckle.

I think you'll have to adjust your criteria a little but you may want to look at Donzi, they make a 23zf and a 26 zf that may have a console large enough to change in.

Concept make a 27 (25' hull) that will get the speeds but you wont have a space to change in, just wrap a towel around yourself and change. you would have to go to a 30 (28 hull) for a small cabin

I think the idea that people are flopping around like rag dolls in CC's is quite exaggerated, like Jupiter said unless you have 10ppl going 70mph in 2-3' waves they are very safe. In both of my CC's all of my seats (or standing positions) have grab handles, my son was sleeping on my wifes lap yesterday for almost 20 miles going 50-52 mph in a mixed up 2' chop, only saw her hand go up for me to slow down 2-3 times!

I have no idea how they handle Lake Michigan water but this Concept sure caught my eye..
