Thinking about coming but know nothing about the lake and accomodations. I would probably bring
the DCB. I wouldnt be able to come until late Thursday night. Would like a dock slip. Any recommendations at this late hour?

Call the Tan Tara http://www.tan-tar-a.com/ It's an incredibly huge resort facility that is extremely reasonable. They always have rooms. Also great docks/ramp/parking for truck & trailer. Great location on the lake, not far from shoot out course/Capt Rons. I've stayed there many years. Kurt

Just tell them you are looking for a top floor lake view room. There are many.

You know what I was just thinkin, all year long it's basically the same group of people on here posting and taking and helping eachother out, and at the beginning of the poker run on Friday morning the weekend of the LOTO shootout, every single one of us will be hanging out at Backwater Jacks, and won't even know that we are probably standing right next to the guy we spend all year bull****ting with!
