I don't know off the top of my head of a boat that has been gone through and is as in mint shape as Wicked....on the other hand here is a great deal http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o57533-en.html and you are boating tomorrow ........ but what do I know all I have is a canoe :P
Your buddy has a nice boat but it is going to take a pile of money to get it back in the water......hence the offer.

Jeremy (BraceYourSelf) has spent hundreds of thousands on offshore boats, pretty sure he made a few calls before reaching out to Elmer on the boat. He got buried in the last boat (Cig 46) so I'm pretty sure he knows what things cost and what these are worth on the used market regardless of how shiny the paint is!

I did make calls on the boat. I would of paid 200K for the hull. I had no trade, cash deal, and pick it up this week. I figured I'd have 350K into it. My concerns were that it was a canopy, ex race boat that was rolled, and sixes that lived behind some big power. At the end of the day I was going to give it a whirl. The problem is the right buyer for wicked is beyond a slim market, but what do I know. I think the boat unrigged will not sell for more then 200K and rigged with fresh everything will struggle to bring 300K and when I was ready to sell I'd of dumped it for 200K max if I was lucky.

Your prob pretty close with your numbers. I will say that near everything exhaust included
Is fresh. That's how I sold it and Elmer has only made it better ( trailer)
But. Your right. It takes the right buyer for a canopy pleasure boat.
Had I to do it over, I might have kept it and converted it to a pleasure 4 or 5 place. No lid
