Lots of ideas here...
https://images.search.yahoo.com/sear...ole+barn+plans https://sp2.yimg.com/ib/th?id=HN.608...6&pid=15.1&P=0 I like that for starters. Just want to get a roof over it to start and then grade or add the walls then grade. I figured for what it will cost to store my boat over the next few years I might as well build and up the value of my house instead. |
Not sure how big you're wanting to go, but dad got a car port installed for a good price and then bought extra metal a couple years later to close the sides in. Works out great for keeping the boat out of the elements.
Just throwing that out there too |

I 2nd/3rd going huge. I'm on a 1/3 acre lot in "suburbia" and built a 30 x 56. Entire build thread with pics below. Lost of money but the best thing I've ever bought outside of the boat!

I would love to see a pic of your lot with that. I own just over a 1/2.

If you're going to access it in the winter don't slope the roof over the doors! My 02 from father in laws building! Avy in waiting, or very large berm to negotiate.
Go BIG, finish later! |
Mines 42x64 , 30 x64 is heated, 12x64 is cold storage. It works great, 3 overhead doors.
