I like that for starters. Just want to get a roof over it to start and then grade or add the walls then grade. I figured for what it will cost to store my boat over the next few years I might as well build and up the value of my house instead.

Not sure how big you're wanting to go, but dad got a car port installed for a good price and then bought extra metal a couple years later to close the sides in. Works out great for keeping the boat out of the elements.

If you're going to access it in the winter don't slope the roof over the doors! My 02 from father in laws building! Avy in waiting, or very large berm to negotiate.

Mines 42x64 , 30 x64 is heated, 12x64 is cold storage. It works great, 3 overhead doors.
