There is a pic on here of a skater (Scaredy cat) running to Bimini really hanging it out in the ocean...boat is full of people. Personally until I see someone with an mti do the same I couldn't imagine comparing the two.
We were in freedom next to them, the helicopter only followed us a few miles out on that run where the seas were only 4'-6' about 3/4 of the way the noaa bouy was showing 8'-10' with occasional up to 14'... I had some really good pics and video of scaredy cat up in the air but then the waves were crashing over us into the cockpit and my cameras was ruined when it floated past me in the cockpit, and the go-pros were knocked off the deck when we went through some waves. this pic was right when we left then I put my phone away.
