The raft off is in Big Muscamoot Bay or as people call it "the moot". The moot is between two narrow points of Harsens island, between middle and south channels. There is a raft off there every Saturday-Sunday all summer that are still about half that size or a little less but, hundreds of boats for sure. The bottom is sandy and waste deep were we anchor. There is a slow current always running through from the channels keeping the bay water fresh and clean. It's awesome!

I'm not really sure but the word is this was the biggest one yet. A few years back we tried to break the genius world record but, not sure if it was achieved. I believe that was 2005 with 1,500 or so. Honestly I would take a stab at 1,500-1,750. Again this is just speculation. Either way it's a chit load of fun! I didn't see one bad thing happen from 10am till 7-730pm when I left.

I was there for the last attempt at the record, this was Way bigger! I've never seen that many boats in the Moot! We had 11 boats in our group, what great day. The last hour before we were able to get out, we were entertained by the " I can't drive a Boat Group"! We were all laughing so hard that nobody got it on video!

The people with brains, walk their boat forward out of the raft line, get their **** in order, start up and head home. The dumb ones, well it is a sight too see....... When I do go, I try and leave before the mass evacuation happens.....
