Default shootout cruise

The cruise for $85 per person, is it worth it? Seems cheap. hard to justify dragging a boat 400 miles to anchor and watch the action... after coming up for lake race the letout after is awesome but too much of a circus with a rookie gofast passenger. I have to work Friday so I would just be watching sat - sun and may possibly hangout at captain rons and surrounding area Saturday then do the cruise sunday.

Any feedback is appreciated

Did it last year.....not bad and not great. They have to anchor a touch off cause the size of the boat and at times it can get crowded on board. Over all not bad but don't expect the best seat in the house. Pick up was a captain Ron's so that was fun and perfect for the after party.

This year we rented a boat. It didn't cost me that much more and we hope to be in the front line this year....the horror stories of 10' holes though....well I will get back to you.

A 2 day trip up and 2 day trip back....and having a job that doesn't really care to give you time off imagines it doesn't happen.

Then it is just fine. Beer is cheap, tender is fine, and view can be good.
