Does anyone know the head and cam specs on a 502mag?

This is what I have listed for the hydraulic roller black Merc Mag Motors
Merc# 431-850478 / GM#12551622
.004 300*/ 300*
.006 288*/288*
.050” 225*/225*
.200” 125*/125*
Lift .483”/. 483”
ICL 109*
LSA 115.5*

Heads are open chamber rectangular port 2.19/ 1.88 valves

I have it listed at 225/225 @ .050. Not that's it a big difference. Not sure which is right.

224 or 225, it doesn't really matter. They are both small and should be placed in the proper location......the scrape barrel.lol

Does the same recommendation apply if using stock thru hull exhaust?

You can certainly go larger while still using the stock exhaust.
