i started off thinking about a 22 classic. my uncle had one which ran 78mph with 502 mag, very fun boat. so the two ends of the spectrum for me are 22 classic and 36 gladiator. my 370ss is bad ass, ran 62mph on her best day and 58mph all day long, full fuel and hot chicks... i got the speed bug im not quenching on my weekend trips, so need to find that and rip around. you guys are throwing some good ones to look at, for a second boat im thinking $65k max

Superboat Y2K. ,great running boat, I wish I didn't sell it.......

Another good one would be a bat boat. Very unusual and fast.

C Spray on here is selling his, not sure what he wants but it is sick!

Nice boat, but no need for cabin I would prefer to be unfinished.

Don't think this qualifies as a deep vee, it's not a 24 right?

I always thought the Pantera 28 would be a great sit down boat because of the lack of freeboard, has anybody ever seen one done that way?

Yes there was a thread in the Panters section where one was converted. Much better setup imo.

I also converted my 24 but modified the current bolsters.

Actually I think it is a 24, maybe a 22.

IMO 2750 Laveycraft and 27 & 30 Activators. Been in & driven the Lavey but only watched the Activator run through out many years.

Yes, That is a good boat. Built right. I am friends with the original owner of that boat. The main reason why its there is because people are probably I little nervous about bravos & 700's. IMO I think its a pretty good buy. Not many 38's are in that price range. Especially that will run that good and that have 700's.

Activator makes a SOLID boat that can take abuse. Their very well known for their 27 single that kicked azz in F1 racing.

Mange

Mange,

Did you change the bottom at all to get those speeds? I thought a 500EFI pushed that hull a little over 80mph. Very impressive!

BUP 09-04-2014 09:17 AM

Mange does your Mercruiser 8.2 L - 430 hp come with a catalyst exhaust system or are you able to get a non CAT version shipped from Mercruiser or is this totally different not the standard 8.2 that is offered here in the states ? Thanks and hello. John

Hi, long time :)

The black boat has different angles on both steps and padded A feet front of the mid step. But keep in mind our boats are much lighter than the original US-boats :)

I have a 27 with 1100hp . Boat is rock solid at 115

BUP 09-04-2014 11:38 AM

Mange thanks for quick reply. I thought it was a non CAT. We can not get a NON Cat complete engine set up here in the states from OEM Merc.. Also can you tell us how much lighter your boats are compared to Marks ? Thanks and you build a great looking boat. Seen some of the pics on facebook and here now - looks like it handles very well plus flies very level in the rough. keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

SFOcean 09-05-2014 12:10 AM

Mange, care to let us in on the status of your boat (the one in your avitar photo) - the engine looks good, runs well I hope?
I have hull #3, yours is #4 :cool-smiley-027:
