100%. Not too long ago Mr. Al Muhairi and Mr. Sanchez (Victory Team) lost their lives in a similar crash.
Thank god they lost so much energy in the air.

Wow... a testament to the design and construction that they even survived that crash.. Hope they both have a speedy recovery...

Happened right in front of me- 200ft away. Glad they are alive and wishes for a speedy recovery.

That thing was airborne.

Kudos to OL for making one tough boat...... glad to hear the Pilots are OK..... Being an Airline Pilot myself I am wondering why these boats are not designed with more basic stability or controllability? Maybe an automatic spoiler deploy system that keeps the nose down if pitch exceeds 15*??? Small canards up front for some kind of limited pitch control??? In this day and age of super technology I know it can be done? Here is a boat in perfect, calm conditions and crashes......... Every year we see the same thing and people die.... Every year....... Who else is going to die this year? next year?
Is it really worth risking your life to take these boats to such high speeds? TBF
