too much trim

Shootout run, straight over, touched a sponson, launched again into the air, landed flat on the canopy! It was upside down probably 50-60' high before landing sideways on the canopy. Really bad crash!!! They were right side up when they finally came to rest.

just saw the wideo, they blew over ans spun it in verted like a frisbee comming down canopy first. Saw the fireboat leaving with one on a backboard in a litter. No frantic work being done so either there was no work left to be done or they are in good shape. hoping, praying for the latter.

All the best to the boys. Good luck. Keep the BS comments away.

Fortunately the boat flipped back upright after impact and they were able to get the drivers out

Not good.

Boats can be fixed/replaced. People cannot. Hopefully the co-driver had a full recovery.
|
Makes you sick to your stomach. I can only imagine what it was like to be there. Hope all pull out OK.

that is terrifying . . . . . . those guys are lucky and I am glad all are OK.
|
Too think we just met all these great guys at the Buffalo Poker Run. Thoughts and prayers for all involved.
|
Holy crap! Prayers for all involved.
|
Scary deal to see it in person. The boat couldn't have landed any worse on its lid. That is a testament to the canopy construction. If it survived that, it should handle Damn near anything. Prayers.
