Long before any of you were born, there was an endurance circuit that was run with 17 to 20 foot SK style boats. The Salton Sea 500, the Miami 9 hour race, Orange Bowl Regatta, etc etc.
Well, one of the names that was royalty in that series was Brummet. So nice to see the DNA of that family is still doing what they do best, build and provide engines and boats that run at the front of every pack. Congrats to Carson Brummet, you have done your family proud sir. Give me one more interesting topic to waste hours on reading about Cool link to the Salton Sea 500 http://classiccustomboats.com/salton-sea-monsters/ http://saltonseamuseum.org/salton_sea_history.html |

Yep they said in broadcast that JT told Teague it would have easily went over 200 if he didn't have to back out of it.

The boat sounds amazing and down at the finish bouy when he lifted I was hoping he would... he ran right up to the edge and hung over. I was holding my breath.
Live to fight another day. |
JT wasn't exactly running on the edge. Course conditions were windy with a crosswind. We knew it would be a challenge. JT ran it tighter than yesterday's run. The lift near the finish was a gust of wind and he reacted to it as he should.
We decided to call it a day. |

Serious shàt. sounds almost like a nitro drag boat from that audio
|
I'll never forget the sound of this boat idling out at Desert Storm, literally reverberates through your entire body, sweet music and sweet boat overall.
|
Those Carson B. powered 388's are so badazz!

The best is the truck out front with barrels loaded up in the bed lol. Boat is a fav of mine and I am not the biggest Skater fan. He has it all right in that one though. |

I am actually a fan of just plain ole Vee's. Cats are fun and cool but nothing I ever want to dabble in. I will leave that to these guys |

Lol haha come on now ...skater is doing it as well ...you have to admit a 388 is just about perfect 165 to 170 mph with merc 1100's on 89 pump gas with all that reliability and a 1 year warranty is hard to beat .... may not be psi glamour motors but mercs run and idol like a dream if you had the money i think it would be tough to pick between the to manufactures ... both our great boats and each have there own pros and cons |
Anyone have any footage of Sundays run?

I will say I always liked MTI interior much better. Having said that the inside of that new Skater "F46" was as nice as it gets. http://i59.tinypic.com/2i1c8w4.jpghttp://i62.tinypic.com/25um78o.jpg |
Wonder if scs crash boxes would of helped over transmissions.

Again this is of course my opinion. Skater Nation. The original! |

The boat was getting built when I was at Skater earlier this month.
It was a very good looking boat and it hustles with those 1100's. Young guy driving it too, impressive all around. I was not sure at first how I felt about it but the more I looked it over the more I really liked it, |
This boat sounded SICK as well.....no clue what power it has though (other than smith i assume).
