Default Exhaust question

Hey all. I have been a member with screamandfly for a while now and sold my fast boats and bought a family boat a 2005 tahoe 215 with the 4.3. It no slouch of a boat though. The other day me and my boy got 51. Know here is my question I miss the fast boats and all and thought about getting a fountain fever 27 for sound and all but really love this tahoe. So how would a 4.3 sound with thru hull exhaust. Was thinking about the Corsa switchable exhaust so it would sound nasty for the itch I have been having lol. I know there want be any performance increase to speak of. But concerned that it will not sound good and I will be out 1800$ or so. Thanks and any video of a 4.3 with thru hull exhaust would be great. I could only find about three on YouTube and thought they sounded good idling not so good running

It will not sound good. V6's just don't sound good, with the exception of a Grand National running lots of boost.

The 4.3's sound much better under water.

I would satisfy another itch as I'm sure you have several.

Start your boat up out of the water on the hose and rev it up a bit, that is what it will sound like more or less. Drop a small block in it instead.

You could always put playing cards in the spokes...about the same effect.
