Not sure as a client I would want that done to my brand new 1mm+ boat..... :D

Actually JS......if I spent over 1m, I would want to be absolutely sure, that my boat could handle any water I took it in .........and the boat had been well tested by factory people who know how to test, to make sure it could.

That is the reason we use water tests in real conditions, to make sure the owner has no surprises.

Nice thought, but I doubt there would be any new Cigs to buy without the foreign sales. Boats are supposed to fly the flag of their home nation in any case.

I can't see Skip behind the wheel in big seas at high speeds!

Also remember, 30 years ago boats were built like tanks, had nothing for options and were lucky to run 60 mph! Seas are the same but the boats certainly aren't!

I have a friend that bought a brand new boat a few years ago. First weekend he had it it was pretty snotty out. He went out and beat the hell out of the thing with the thought that if anything broke, he could get it taken care of promptly by the dealer/mfg. This is Lake Erie, you need to have faith and trust in your boat out here.
