A 36 foot boat with a pair of 1500 hp engines???? Dang, I hope you you don't hurt yourself or anyone else with that boat! Just sounds like WAY too much power for a boat that size. One slightest mistake or mechanical failure and you'll have your hands full. Just my .02. I wish the best for your safety. Please be careful Bro.

Otto, how does your 36 handle with number sixes? Are they on boxes? How much weight did you need to put up front, or did you put in a tank?

Good luck.

Send the drives to Colabella Performance in St Cloud FL. He is the man when it comes to sixes.

Drives are going to Craig in St Cloud for the gear swap. Boat handles great with the VI drives . It ran 163 last year with the old power. No weight or tanks in the bow. Boat really is balanced perfectly. Six drives come with there own boxes. Kaama, I have raced cats for years and very much respect the speed. Just because a boat will run 190 MPH it does not mean you have to drive it that fast. My mind set with this boat was to have a boat that would out accelerate anything it runs against. Most match races are all over in short order if you leave the competition behind in the first 10 seconds. I spend most of my time running around 100 or 125, The plan was to have a boat that would do that at 4500 to 5000 RPMs. That way you can get many hours between rebuilds. Otto

You're absoultely right about a match race being over within about the first ten seconds. One usually finds out who's king within short order. I'm sure the torque and throttle response that boat has with that kind of power has got to be a real gut wrencher! Sounds like you could beat most people in reverse with that thing!

Hi Otto, How are you guys? Are you going to be in the water this weekend? I might come down. The weather looks pretty bleak. I might get a little work done on the boat, but not sure about going in the water. How is Ania and Otto?

Hey doesn't a match race need a match, 36' 3000 HP, Not too much can match that.
