Long Labor Day Weekend Poker Run Highlights
FRIDAY - Pre-Poker Run Party - “Let’s get the Engines Warmed Up” at Tierra
Verde Resort Marina’s Waterside Dockside Restaurant / Lounge
· Rooms available & docking reserved for out of town Poker Runners
· Fuel Available and receive OPBA .20 cent discount per gallon of gas
SATURDAY POKER RUN “HOLD THE HANDRAIL FIRMLY”
· Registration at Johnny Leverock’s 9:15 AM – 10: 45 AM with Breakfast Buffet for $5.00 per person. Register 1st, then eat breakfast, then head south to Sarasota
· 10:45 – 11:00 AM Captains Meeting and 11:00 AM “Start Your Engines”
· $100.00 a boat including Captain, Mate and 2 Crew; after 4 total crewmembers a 2nd Poker Hand needs to be purchased for $50.00. LATE REGISTRATION 8/29 – 8/31 $150.00 a boat. Additional Poker Hands can be purchased at Registration
· Lunch included, Shirts, Decals and Awards (1st, 2nd, “Best Looking Poker Run Team”, “Best Engine Package”, “Best Paint Graphics”, “Best Boat Stereo” and other fun awards
· FLOAT PLAN - Card # 1 Johnny Leverock’s - St. Pete Beach, Card # 2 Vinoy Yacht Basin – Downtown St. Petersburg, Card # 3 Sunset Tiki Lounge / Bahia Beach Resort (LUNCH) – Old Tampa Bay, Card # 4 Bongos – Bradenton, Card # 5 & Awards at Latitudes – Holiday Inn Marina Resort – Sarasota
· 70 – 100 mile course depending on which Pace Boat you follow
· Pace Boats: 40 –45 mph group, 60 – 65 group, 80 mph group
· Saturday Night - OPBA Poker Run Party at Margarita Maggies. We have an Allstar Limo Bus from 8:00 PM – 2:00 AM for transportation

I just received a call from my son, Nathan, and Ryan Beckley on Ryan's 24' Skater in the middle of day two of the St. Pete to Sarasota Poker Run. They claim they are running away from everyone else and having a blast. They said they called just to make me envious. Guess what, it worked.
