496 HO oil leak question

had to find the link to what we used for years and works very well for finding those hard to find leaks. Scroll down the link page and page 2 to see if any other dye might work for you as well.

Thnk you all who replied planning to dig into the issue this week and will post reports as to what I find so maybe someday it will help someone else. Again thank you guys for the help.

Found my oil leak yesterday while winterizing. It was coming off of the filter adapter mount on the block. Tightened it up and all should be well. Will find out for sure in the spring.

I had 2 oil leaks on my 496 on the port side and both were described already in this thread. First was the elbow that screws into the block that holds the oil pressure sending unit. Second was the bottom of the gear lube reservoir.
