Default Metallic brake pad rust particle stains on my deck

Just went to wash my boat to get her ready for tomorrow and noticed a million little rust stains all over my deck. I got out the soap and a non abrasive scrubber and got all of the metallic particles off so that everything feels smooth but what in the hell do I use to get these very fine rust stains out other than buffing which I do not have time for.

Do you keep your boat outside ??? Do you live near train tracks or down wind from them ??? More likely to be rail dust. Either way no good. You can try Barkeepers friend or similar product. Then make sure you keep it waxed up.

Its weird though it was only right in front of the windshield by about one or two feet, like my truck tossed it up there. I do live near tracks but I have never had this on any of the boats I have owned or any vehicles and they were white.

Look into CarPro's Iron-X. It's a popular product in the automotive detailing world and chemically dissolves the iron particles.

Let me find a youtube video to give you an idea of how it works.

I had a crew cab 8ft bed SRW all white truck. Drove home a few hundred miles (from snowmobiling) with my rotors metal on metal.

Both sides completely brown from the iron in the rotors.

I didn't know what the hell to do. An employee sprayed it down with PB Blaster, I schit myself when i saw this !, and then he wiped all the iron and PB blaster right off.

I obviously washed the truck down instantly just in case the PB Blaster would eat the paint. Which all worked out fine.

I am not suggesting to do this, even though it worked somehow, because it is that unusual (to me) for using such a product onpaint for this use !

Just telling my crazy story !

LOL..........

Has anybody used a grinder on metal around or near your boat?
