Exhaust Echo Chamber, lol, in all seriousness it directs sound behind the boat away from the passengers. Also kinda seems to clean up the back of the boat.

Is there any functional purpose to them? Seems like some brands have huge ones now and I wonder if there is any reason other then looks.

The Series Pablo Escobar on Netflix is Awesome. It's all in Spanish with English subtitles, but even if you don't understand Spanish you have to listen to the sound to feel the mood of the series. |

YOU misread or misunderstood this comment. I said IF THE ESCAPE would have been successful, Kramer would have gone down as the most infamous outlaw in modern history... NOT BIGGEST MURDERER, the most notorious gangster of modern day.
After escobar escaped the 4 star prison he built for himself he wss kn the run for years and declared war on colombia! He blew up planes a government building in bogata... all the money kramer earned during his entire drug dealing career was pocket change to escobar. Escobar put a 500 dollar bounty on cops and hundreds were murdered as a result... |

Awesome show... he is still loved by the people of medellin he was a huge philanthrapist he built barrio escobar and gave all the poorest families homes, he built thousands of soccer fields under the lights all over the city... people helped him hide for the police. He gave money to poor people constantly... |

 Ask some of your non boating friends if theyve heard of ben... then ask them if theyve heard of escobar. Even giselda blanco.... So they were both smugglers, one earned a couple hundred million dollars... the other made it to number 7 on forbes richest people list... So youre saying escobar was only a murderer? How is he different from say al capone? |
Don't know anything about this guy or the murder of Don Z!But if anybody on here thinks it stopped at Al Capone or Escobar then they should stop dreaming:angry-smiley-038:Also if there is a demand for something illegal then there will always be thugs and savages that will continue the life:eek:The fall guys spend time in jail if released you can bet x mas bonus stashed for them:eek:!Oh yea is he out??Ben K?

I believe the 28 cig in the photo was the Miami boat show boat. No points for the 1st race of the season... So Sutphen took over... In APBA...1979. Hard to play catch up in the points. It really didn't make any difference because, Sutphen had much more speed with the same power than my 28 Cigarette SS. Live and learn... u |

Ya they took my hull I ordered months before, and instead of giving it to me they used it in the Miami boat show and I had to miss the 1st race in California that year because the boat wasn't done in time to start the the season off.

Since the Manslaughter conviction was after the drug conviction he just might be eligible for parole with new sentencing guidelines.

Well since he got life for the drug charges I agree. I think the 19 year sentence for manslaughter is up this year.
Can you serve State time in a Federal Prison? Probably not. What that means is if his Federal bid expires he could be shipped to State prison and do time for the Aronow charge and the attempted escape charge. Seen it done, but the opposite way to Terrance Karl Alden, from State to Federal. You play serious, they play serious. |
He may have had a prayer if it weren't for the hollywood helicopter escapade..... That probably sealed his fate right there

You would have to wonder about a couple of things: 1. Is there ANY real money left and could he spend it? Storage unit with 10 million in it? Safety deposit box full of gold? The authorities would be on him for years waiting to pounce if he showed up in a new Bentley, spending money like he used to. 2. Would life be any fun for him after being locked up for 25+ years? So he gets released, he is broke 60+ years old and it is a new world. Telling old racing/smuggling stories isn't exactly resume material! Here is a Maxim article on Lanier's release (not sure if it has been posted here) http://www.maxim.com/cars/racing/art...-drug-smuggler |

The government can be stupid. If he has some money stashed away, he could live comfortable. Maybe at a dentists level. Not running out and buying a mansion and toys. But low key and comfortable is easy.
|
Bring it all ran concurrent guess old boy will be out.

Actually if Kramer was smart he would have money stashed away. Won't get into too many details but in places like Switzerland and Luxembourg, bankers will front bank accounts and even stock trades in their own name for other people. They charge around 8%, a lot less then paying income taxes on the money. There are ways to secretly still have control over the money but its in another name. Switzerland may give up an American, but they'll never give up a Swiss citizen. Its pretty easy to hide cash, just need the right people.

The 19 years is up.
Most prisons are setting free traffikers (if it was marijuana) |
