Mike Fiore and/or some of the OL people were here on-site at the Eliminator Factory for most of the build. They supervised every step of this build process.

Mike comments back to our Production Dept is he felt the finished hull would probably weigh in as much as 500lbs more that a comparable build by Outerlimits themselves. Eliminator built this hull to the OL specs as mentioned.

Mike came out to supervise the weighing of the finished boat as you see it in the pictures. Mike and Eliiminator were delighted to see that the finished product was actually 200lbs LIGHTER than a comparable OL build.

Can't wait to continue the build this coming week...!!!

Wow, nice job then! So what was the contributing factor(s) to your boat being so much lighter?

I'm sure hand laid is easier, but what are the other reasons for you stating it's "the only way to go"?

Shueman the boat looks great!! I was curious to know did you guys buy the mold from OL or will these be a limited production type deal? Who's badge will she be wearing?

Greetings all...

I just checked with our Lamination Dept and this Outerlimits SV29 WAS vac bagged and hand laid. ALL future builds will incorporate this same OL/ELB process.

On the weight difference, the lamination schedule was to OL's specs and one of their staff was here supervising the majority of the time.

So just out of complete curiosity how does this work out for Outerlimits financially?

The molds for the SV29 will remain here in California. Outerlimits will receive a royalty for each boat built.

Boat looks good.. is eliminator taking over all production of the SV29's? As JJ said is it going to be badged as an eliminator or a outerlimits?

Obviously... I was Just commenting on the Drive choice for the rendering, Not thinking someone would actually put a 1350 in one, Brett's comment conveyed the same.. Sure it would be interesting, but its fast enough with half that..

Yep twin 300 xs on the back would make for a sweet boat.
