Well MGR and Qatar play well together...MGR stated they are supporting SBI, Which would lead one to believe Qatar will follow suit. So if Qatar follows SBI, then it wasnt their truck full of dollars dumped on Sarasota. So whos truck was it? If it was RedBull as someone suggested, are they going to be happy with this level of jackassery?

with all the rumblings of qatar being the architect behind opgp, i don't see them as aligning with geico and supporting sbi at all. remains to be seen. you are correct...will be quite a silly upcoming season.

Thats what doesnt make sense. Gieco and Qatar are too close which is why I think its not qatar and somebody elses money.

Don't think u will see Qatar follow SBI.

Qatar wil follow Gieco, or Gieco will follow Qatar..either way. Where ever one goes the other will follow. I have ate in the Gieco pits before, and the Shiek bought me subway once. Im following my stomach on this one.....

If Qatar can't race in the SBI race in KW this year, why would the follow SBI next year?

I think it is wayyyyyy past that if new events are already booked.

That said my $$$ will still be spent in Sarasota during that time.

I think I read somewhere that there will be no production classes. Doesn't her boyfriend still race a prominent, sponsored, high vis , production boat? Too bad for him? Just some levity.
