I need some input for honeymoon planning

Here's my recommendation since I did it on mine:
Visit the island of Lanai off of Maui. It is a semi-private resort island with only three total hotels. Two of them are the on the top ten resorts list in Conde Nast. I would recommend the Lodge at Koele for max privacy and solitude but if you want a little Mediteranean/Caribbean style then the Manele Bay Resort may be more your speed. I went for 10 days and split it evenly between the two. I would do the Lodge at Koele first since it is a GREAT way to wind down from the hustle and bustle of the wedding. Maui is only a 45 minute boat ride away and you land at Lahaina, the "big" town. The number four dive spot in the world is right off of Lanai and it is worth seeing! There is so much to do but thankfully you never see many other people essentially making you feel like you are the only ones there.
Bonus: if you are a Platinum AMEX member you get free upgrades and other awesome bonus'. Definitely worth it!!!
