If anyone has a Techmate Scan tool they don't need anymore let me know. About to buy a new one but thought I would let you guys know and I could save some money on one.

Sorry forget the scan tool I am going to buy the diagnostic software for a laptop. If anyone can help with that I'm all ears.

Call Rinda / Diacom and order the Techmate Pro it is brand new out for about 2 months.Its a hand held unit needing no laptop. You can order different versions of it to fit your needs as the price is less than the complete kit of 829 bucks. If you order from them - do me a favor and tell them you got the info from John @ Boats Unlimited. I do not make a dime off any of their sales. Just passing this info along and of course I have my new techmate as well..

Thanks at least check the new unit out before buying. its the latest greatest. you can check out any info from their website on the marine side of it. I am a huge supporter of Diacom plus Ed R. is a wealth of info.
