If you get on plane easy and not blow the prop out, and also not wave jump it a lot where the prop comes out/in the water a bunch than it seems like it holds up ok, atleast for me anyway.
Also helps if you boat in calmer water too.
Your mileage may vary.
To go ahead and add to the thread, '98 Checkmate Convincor HP500 (509 cubes though) M3SC ProCharger @ 6 psi, 28P prop, stock Bravo 1 and no nosecone, 84 on the GPS with only me and probably about an 1/8th of a tank of fuel.

The Howard 25 Bullet [ 25' with built in swimgrid ] is capable of 100 with 600 power. The 28 Bullet [ closer to the 25' mark not counting the built in swim grid ] ran 122 official mph with blown power, 130mph by Powerboat. With its 22.5 * deadrise it's not a blue water wave buster but an excellent boat nonetheless.

1995 27ft fountain fever (stepped hull), has a 525sc in it that was special ordered from fountain this way, 7lbs of boost, and a 26 hydromotive set up for the fountain. Best of 80.9mph with just me in the boat, and about 20 gallons of fuel. 77.8mph with a full tank (60 gallons), and 2 people.
