After a lot of hard work, a ten year break from boating, some good investments and a year of build time, this is my dream boat:

If i was gonna build my dream boat it would be a new Nor Tech with diesels hands down. Probably a twin to Jassmans blue 43 or maybe a 50, either way it would have diesels. The big Mystics are pretty cool or maybe one of the eighty NT's . . . . .

I often dreamed of bringing one of these back to life, the Nautica Transgressor. A friend of mine use to own the one that went through us auctions. Of the three that were brought into the US (It was built in Turkey) all had major bottom delam issues but it is a pretty cool boat. A jet boat that size would fit me well with the low water we have in the west Erie basin once in a while lol. I still have the build log books around somewhere. The attention to detail in the cabin and deck wood work was incredible but the lamination of the hull was pure junk. I gave him an estimate of 250K to put a proper bottom on it, it was save-able.

43 Active Thunder with Ilmore 725's. Love the creature comforts and rough water capability of my 37, love the reliability and efficiency of the 725's

^^^^ AT has a 43 ? I heard at one time they were going to have a 41 or 42 or maybe the 43 you are talking about back some years ago. I thought nothing that size was ever built by them in the past nor currently. Do they have a mold for a 40 something hull or would extend the 37 ? Just asking

I do like the Ilmors and the way they sound on the water. I would be clueless working on that Indy drive. The motor side, I could handle that end.

I have driven 2 Ilmor powered and have ridden in three, so 5 total currently, so I can make the statement that I like them not just hear say on my end. My last ride out in Ilmor power was right behind you at the start of the Buffalo PR.

Of all the boats that have come and gone through the classifieds "Rare Breed" and "Artemis" always stand out to me. I don't know why. Maybe because they we're reasonably priced and I found myself day dreaming a lot.

Also member Bsbzba's full cabin Rough Rider would be one of my dram boats as well.

I also love that blue/grey/whit 44' MTI that is in the classifieds right now!!!

I like the Blue hardtop nortech cat. Now without motors, they want $200K but Shogren had it for the same price with JC 950s. I like the concept of the hardtop that opens when you want it open. I think that boat with strong but dependable power around 1000 per side would be the last boat I would ever own

Ilove everything about my tiger and my upgrades this winter will make it even better. But my dreamboat would be a 47 apache straight hull laid up by skater or doug wright, staggered low compression 11-1300 pump gas engines, #6 drives 6 pak with a bare bones cabin w cushion to sleep in if need be.
