From what I've read on here, some people said toilet bowl cleaner can "bubble" the gel coat? I've used it a few times with no issues but I'm just passing that along.

For me, FSR (Fiberglass Stain Remover) from West Marine is the best hull cleaner. Dissolves the yellow in a matter of minutes, just rub it on and then rinse.

i cannot remember the name of it but they sell it at a dollar store. It is toilet bowl cleaner with acid in it. On/off hull cleaner is the same thing but much more toxic. It burns your skin if you get it on you and smell is awful. It will also open the fiber glass pores and cause the hull to yellow much quicker.

I have been using Mary Kate On/Off for a few years now and I love it. I use a soft brush on a pole and I pour the cleaner into a paint pan. Then I just dip the brush in the paint pan and brush in on the hull. Then just hose it off. Works great!

Exactly what I do. I use a soft bristle car was brush on a extending pole. It allows me to easly reach the bottom of the boat with our reaching under it too much with my arms. I do small sections at a time and hose the cr@p out of it to rinse. The stains come off in seconds and my aluminum trailer shows no stains.

Thanks, never heard of slimy grimy. Where do I find it? Is it a boat product or household?
