Default Progression27 I/O Whippled Merc 525efi IMCO scx4

New to me 1998 27 Progression in like new condition.Bought from Progression Boats, had new cockpit interior.Put some new equipment in with Kevin from Progression was a pleasure working with him,and he was very patient with me.I wanted to put new power and drive in the boat so after doing a lot of research we decided to go with a Stage2 Whipple charged Merc 525efi linked to a IMCO SCX4 on a 12" stand off.I believe this is one of first if not the first single engine V hull using the SCX4 drive. We went with this package for speed, handling, and dependability. So far we have speed and handling, time will tell on dependability.Put a lot of testing and R&D into this, still doing some fine tuning but very happy with it so far. Thanks again Kevin and Jane from Progression boats.

Hp was close to the same @ 700 but was a carbureted blower motor with bravo style drive ran high 90s.This motor is more efficient and dependable, runs over 100 and has much more control with this gear case and prop.

Great numbers. The buoy sleeve on the inside of the hatch is super slick. Where did that come from? I've never seen that setup, makes a lot of sense.
