One day I'll hit the mountains! For now, I'll have to settle for this.

Boondocking is more like trials riding, but when you enter a clearing its balls to the walls and big fun. Its hard to explain if you haven't been there. Up in revelstoke we dropped about 7 to 800 feet into an area of untouched powder, spent all day then clawed our way back out just before dark. Btw avg snowfall 40 to 70 feet, just an awesome place to ride but a serious workout cause when you get stuck you're really stuck!
Also avy gear is NOT an option in the mountains!

Fun Stuff. I've been watching the "open snow" forecast everyday for the last month. Looks like it is finally starting to pile up. Moving from Crested Butte, Co to St. Louis took some getting used to for me but I finally have my winters dialed so I have at least two weeks in the mountains per month. I'll have to see how my winter travel schedule shakes out but your event looks like a blast.

Every year when I see you guys at the Billy Allen get together at LOTO I remind my wife we need to take a sled trip to Saratoga.

Yesterday, I made the journey from Denver to Saratoga Wyoming. The snow in the Snowy Mountain Range was substantial
